January 24th, 2012: IX Reach and Telx today announced that they have entered a non-exclusive channel partnership providing Telx customers with even more connectivity and colocation choice for access to the European markets, and also providing European networks direct, secure access to colocation and connectivity options at Telx’s C3 Cloud Connection Center in New York City. Under the terms of the channel partnership agreement, Telx customers at the 111 8th Ave. New York City C3 data center can leverage IX Reach for cost-effective connectivity to the key European markets of London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris; while IX Reach’s European customers can tap the Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) for seamless network peering, establishing a cost-effective traffic route to New York City.
Telx’s C3 Cloud Connection Center at 111 8th Avenue in New York City is a key international gateway, connecting major North American cities to major European cities via direct, high-speed transatlantic cable system routes. This is also a key connectivity hub for the capital markets community, in the heart of New York City’s financial district.The Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) brings together regional IP networks from content providers and other networks onto a single, neutral, privately-owned network fabric.
