About the service:
IX Reach's pan-European 10Gb ring network offers you layer 1 and 2 data transport between many of Europe's leading commercial data centres. We can also connect you directly to 7 European Internet exchange points. As part of our city-city package we will provide you with further assistance to get you connected to the peering exchange points provided you have your own AS assignment. This includes completing contracts, ordering end point cabling, requesting port assignments and add the exchange fees as part of our monthly charges with no additional overhead fees.
Our solutions can normally be deployed and ready for use within 10 working days. This enables businesses to quickly scale their network footprint sometimes saving or even reducing costs normally associated with pan-European networks and Tier 1 Transit, whilst improving their physical network presence, access and reliability.

IX Reach's fixed pricing model offers all customers transparency and the comfort that they can expand their network quickly and within budget.
How do we do it?
We provide you with either FastEthernet, GigabitEthernet or 10GigabitEthernet ports in each location as switched Ethernet or wavelengths, and Pseudo-Ethernet as clear channel MPLS, tagged or untagged VLANs at your location along with a committed volume of capacity. We then provide a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint layer 1or 2 connection to one or more other locations, which are IX Reach on-net.
As your requirements and traffic grow or change, we can quickly add more break-out locations, destinations or ports - we just add them to your existing commitment and only charge a nominal additional fee for the additional port or VLAN.
All customers with ports on IXReach therefore have the ability not only to obtain services from IX Reach but to extend their network for redundancy or to privately collect and deliver other services over IX Reach with their customers or suppliers, transparently at layer 1 or 2.
