IX Reach support Macmillan at the LINX Go Karting day

On Wednesday 15th July, An IX Reach team kitted up and headed off to the Daytona racing track in Milton Keynes once again to take part in the 3rd annual Go Karting day hosted by our partner, LINX, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. This year IX Reach entered 8 racers who were all hoping to improve on last year's second place finish. The day began with the teams arriving at 12.30 for lunch, followed by a safety briefing with the teams warming up and getting into their karts by 2.30pm.

After some warm up laps and getting to grips with the handling of the karts, the racing began at 3pm and after an adrenaline filled 2 hours the checkered flag was waved. The the IX Reach teams had managed to secure 1st place, 5th place and 13th place and proceeded to the podium to receive their gold trophies to add alongside the silvers from last year.
