Thanks Chicago! See you next year for another ITW!

IX Reach - ITW 2014 From May 11th - 14th, in the architecturally stunning city of Chicago, Illinois, International Telecoms Week - more commonly known as ITW - took place. Steve Wilcox, John Hill, Ruth Plater, Rebecca Stanić, Elaine Dixon, Ben Nicklin, and Chris Summers attended the busy event which this year attracted a record number of delegates; ITW 2014's attendee list topped 6,039, an increase of 247 from the year before! ITW 2014 was a truly diverse event with delegates attending from each corner of the globe; 148 countries from each continent were represented this year, and a huge 1,874 companies attended. Delegates at the international event come from a wide range of telecoms background including data networks, VoIP platforms, hardware and software... it’s clear to see why ITW has become such a central selling, meeting and networking hub for the telecommunications industry.

With the success of the two previous years at ITW under their belt, IX Reach chose to exhibit at a much larger booth for 2014. Featuring a sofa and a coffee table, booth 1450 on the Purple Level soon became the place to sit and discuss global carrier services, remote peering, DWDM waves and cloud connectivity with an expert team. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were packed with meetings, and with all the extra foot traffic coming through the exhibition hall the IX Reach team certainly had busy days; combined with all the networking events and socials, a very full agenda was created for the entire team!
