IX Reach Will Be Attending and Exhibiting at PTC’14 in Hawaii

As the weather is getting colder, and the afternoons are getting darker in the UK, Steve Wilcox, Rebecca Stani?, Ben Nicklin and John Hill have been dusting off their leis and grass skirts in preparation for attending PTC'14 in Hawaii at the Hilton Hawaiian Village from January 19th - 22nd 2014. This is the second year that IX Reach will be attending and exhibiting at PTC - however, in a change from last year, this time Steve Wilcox will be taking a more active role in the Asia Pacific region for telecommunications by giving a presentation entitled "The Role IXPs and Peering Play in the Evolution of the Internet" on Sunday 19th January, 14.30 – 14.50 in the Nautilus 2 room in the Mid-Pacific Conference Center - click here to read a short snippet of the talk.  

The Pacific Telecommunications Council host an annual conference - which is now in its 36th year - that brings together a community of members from more than 40 countries. The event is the biggest in the Asia-Pacific region and is one of the most popular events in the telco calendar. IX Reach will be exhibiting in order to expose and build the brand and develop the solid reputation it has earned in Europe as a leading global connectivity provider, colocation experts and remote peering specialists in the US. With just over a month to go until the Hawaiian event, there are already over 1,100 registered attendees from a wide range of backgrounds, including data networks, VoIP platforms, hardware and software; it’s clear to see why it has become such a central selling and networking hub for the telecoms industry.
