After NANOG 64 came MORE-IP US

Following on from an exciting and busy trip to NANOG 64, the IX Reach and IIX teams headed over to MORE-IP US. It was the first time that AMS-IX had hosted their MORE-IP event out in the US and was hosted at the NFIA San Francisco Office MORE-IP US was a 1-day conference aimed at discussing and projecting future developments and demands within the Internet industry and IP Interconnection in particular. It was an event for peering, wholesale business and Internet engineering professionals interested in forecasting and managing regional, national and global Internet infrastructure & services demands. A great selection of professionals from every Internet related sector were in attendance. From data centres, transport providers, Internet applications, mobile, cloud, gaming and content networks to the access, service and hosting providers that make up the AMS-IX community. The event included discussions regarding peering, collaboration, starting a business, equipment, testing, data centres and transport in the exchange community as well offers plenty of networking opportunity.
